Dr. Katerina Ivanova
Dr. Katerina Ivanova is a psychiatrist in the Dallas area. She has earned her medical degree at UNT Health Science Center at Fort Worth and completed her psychiatry residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Additionally, she had completed the ECT Fellowship at Duke University. Dr. Ivanova is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and joined UT Southwestern faculty in 2015. Later, she joined the Intensive Behavioral Team at Terrell State Hospital, where she treated behaviorally complex and violent patients, as well as served as the Director of Electroconvulsive Therapy and Psychosomatic Medicine at the state hospital. She currently works with Telehealth services, delivering psychiatric care to underserved areas around the country. She also continues to work at Parkland Hospital, where she is an emergency room psychiatrist. She has joined North Texas Pain Institute team in 2019. Dr. Ivanova is an avid runner, biker, reader, and traveler.
Jill Rice
Board Certified Family Nurse Practioner
Jill Rice, RN, MSN, FNP-C received her Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University, graduating with honors in 2000. She is Board-Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and has been practicing Pain Management since 2001. She also received her Post-Master’s Certificate from the University of Texas at Arlington as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Additionally, she holds an Associate of Nursing Degree from Eastern Kentucky University, as well as Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in both Biology and Psychology from Transylvania University. Throughout her career, Jill has practiced in wide range of specialties including, Spine Care, Cardiology/Telemetry, Oncology/Chemotherapy, General Medicine, Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Interventional Pain Management, and since 2010 has been practicing with Howard M. Cohen, MD at North Texas Pain Institute. Away from the office, Jill enjoys spending time with her family, cats and dogs. She engages in various community volunteer activities.
